CAMEOL Reports

The Complementary and Alternative Medicine Evidence Online (CAMEOL) database contains reviews of the research evidence of effectiveness of a number of specific therapies within areas of NHS Priority. These include cancer, mental health, coronary heart disease and stroke and chronic conditions such as arthritis, asthma, back pain, diabetes and multiple sclerosis.

There are 2 ways of accessing the reviews:

• Browsing by condition - select one from the list on the left hand side
• Searching - use the site search engine to identify the report you need.

If only one review is available, you will be taken directly to that review. If more than one is retrieved, you will need to select one of these to view.

Please note that although funding for this project came to an end in 2009, it is very much hoped that further funding wil be found in order to take this work forward.
